chicken pot pie

Ingredients:

  • frozen pie crust
  • 4 cups cooked chicken
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1/4 c white wine
  • 1 1/2 c heavy cream
  • 2 tbs flour
  • 1/2 t paprika
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken
  • 2 c mixed frozen vegetable

Directions:

  • Melt butter in skillet
  • Add flour and seasonings, cook for 1-2 minutes
  • Add wine and heavy cream, cook until thickened
  • Add cream of chicken, vegetables, and chicken
  • Pour into pie crust
  • Top with additional pie crust (or melt 2 tbs butter and mix in 1/2 c bread crumbs)
  • Bake at 400 for 25-30 minutes
