Grandma's pork chops with rice
Ingredients:
- 1 C long grain rice
- 4 oz canned mushrooms - reserve liquid
- 2 oz pimentos
- 2 envelopes onion soup
- 2 C boiling water
Directions:
- Put rice in greased 9X13 casserole dish.
- Add mushrooms, pimentos 1 envelope onion soup.
- Put pork chops on top.
- Sprinkle remaining soup mix over pork chops.
- Slowly add water to corner of dish.
- Cover and bak 45-60 minutes at 350.
- Uncover and bake additional 10 minutes if the water has not evaporated
