Grandma's pork chops with rice

Ingredients:

  • 1 C long grain rice
  • 4 oz canned mushrooms - reserve liquid
  • 2 oz pimentos
  • 2 envelopes onion soup
  • 2 C boiling water

Directions:

  1. Put rice in greased 9X13 casserole dish.
  2. Add mushrooms, pimentos 1 envelope onion soup.
  3. Put pork chops on top.
  4. Sprinkle remaining soup mix over pork chops.
  5. Slowly add water to corner of dish.
  6. Cover and bak 45-60 minutes at 350.
  7. Uncover and bake additional 10 minutes if the water has not evaporated
