Ingredients:
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1/2 lb italian sausage
- 1 pk pepperoni - chopped
- 1/2 c onion - chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp oregano
- 2 tbsp sage
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 can tomatoes diced
- 1 can tomato sauce + 1 filled w/ water
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 egg - beaten
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 2 pkgs mozerella - sliced
- 1 pkg parmesan
- 12 lasagna noodles - oven ready
Directions:
- Brown meats with onion, garlic, sage and oregano. add all tomatoes products and water
- Let simmer 30 minutes
- Combine ricotta, egg, parmesan (reserve some for top) and basil
- Put 1/2 c of sauce in bottom of 10x13 casserole dish
- Layer lasagna, 1/2 ricotta cheese mixture, mozerella slices and 1/3 of the sauce. repeat layers
- Final layer is lasagna, remaining sauce mozerella and parmesan
- Bake covered in 350 oven for 30 minutes. remove cover and cook additional 10 minutes. let stand 10 minutes
