maple bacon appetizer

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf french bread, sliced into 5/8" pieces
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled or sliced into small pieces

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking pan with parchment paper. Place slices of french bread onto the baking pan and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese, brown sugar, maple syrup and vanilla. Beat until mixed well.
  3. Spread mixture over bread slices. Top with bacon
  4. Bake 5-8 minutes until heated through.
