maple walnut oatmeal with sliced banana - Homemade Method

Ingredients:

  • 1 C oats
  • 1 C water
  • 1 C milk
  • 1 1/3 T maple syrup, divided
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 2 T walnuts, chopped

Directions:

  1. Combine oats, water, milk and half of maple syrup to a small saucepan. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
  2. Divide into serving bowls. Top with bananas, drizzle with remaining syrup and sprinkle with nuts.
