Sea Salt Caramel Granola - Homemade Method

Ingredients:

  • 2T maple syrup
  • 2 T coconut oil
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 C rolled oats
  • 1/2 pecans, chopped
  • 4 dates, chopped
  • 2 T coconut
  • 1/8 t salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Combine maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla.
  3. In separate bowl, combine oats and pecans.
  4. Mix in liquid ingredients to coat evenly.
  5. Spread mixture onto prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes for even baking. Grandola should be golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  8. Stir in dates and coconut flakes, and sprinkle with salt.
  9. Allow to cool completely then transfer to air tight container.
