slow cooker korean meatballs
Ingredients:
- 1 pound frozen meatballs - dont use frozen meatballs. they are gross. make your own meatballs
- ¾ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup cola soda
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 4-6 scallions
- 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
Directions:
- Mix the soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, soda, garlic, and scallions together
- Place the meatballs and sauce in your slow cooker
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours
- Right before serving mix your cornstarch with about a tablespoon of water, just enough to make a slurry
- Then add the slurry to the meatballs to thicken the sauce a bit
