slow cooker korean meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound frozen meatballs - dont use frozen meatballs. they are gross. make your own meatballs
  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup cola soda
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 4-6 scallions
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch

Directions:

  • Mix the soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, soda, garlic, and scallions together
  • Place the meatballs and sauce in your slow cooker
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours
  • Right before serving mix your cornstarch with about a tablespoon of water, just enough to make a slurry
  • Then add the slurry to the meatballs to thicken the sauce a bit
