zuppa toscana - Olive Garden soup

Ingredients:

  • ground italian sausage
  • 3 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 1/8 C onion, diced
  • 9 slices of bacon, cooked
  • 2 1/4 t minced garlic
  • 3 C kale, chopped
  • 3 C chicken broth
  • 1/2 C cream

Directions:

  1. Fry sausage, bacon and onion in dutch oven. Cook until translucent.
  2. Add garlic, cook additional minute.
  3. Add chicken broth and potatoes. Boil for 15 minutes.
  4. Add kale and cream. Simmer 4 minutes.
